Participant Release Policy

I hereby release and absolve Building from the Ground Up, its subsidiaries, staff, employees and directors from all liability and responsibility for injuries, sickness, accidents, loss of money and property, that may be sustained before, after or whilst participating at a BGU event, workshop, camp or course.

I also hereby acknowledge the inherent risks involved when taking part in cheerleading and dance, and have the necessary insurance cover in association with my team/club or have individual athletic insurance to cover such in the unlikely event of an injury, accident or loss when taking part.

In signing this release form, I am allowing my athletes, child or self, to participate in a Building from the Ground Up event and agree to waive and release all rights to claim for damages which I or my athlete may sustain or suffer whilst participating at the event, including travelling to and from the event.

I also confirm that my athletes have not been advised by a doctor or medical professional to avoid physical exercise and do not know of any problems that may adversely affect their or my own health when taking part at the event.

I also give permission for myself, Child and/or athletes to be photographed, video-or audio-taped during any of the Building from the Ground Up events, and give permission for such photographs, videos and audio tapes to be regulated and used in print or broadcast through any media which is deemed appropriate for the promotion of Building from the Ground Up activities, promotions and publicity.

I have read and hereby agree with the above and fully understand these conditions. All athletes and their legal guardians are in agreement and attach their full names and dates of births, gender and their emergency contact detail in the unlikely event of an incident occurring.
